Kurt Boehl attended Seattle University School of Law. At Seattle University he excelled in trial practice. Kurt founded the Law School Chapter of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and participated in numerous Moot Court competitions. During law school Kurt had the opportunity to work for both the Seattle City Attorney's office as a Rule 9 city prosecutor and with the Northwest Defenders Association as a Rule 9 public defender. Before graduating from Law School, Kurt had handled hundreds of criminal hearings and had tried 18 cases to jury verdict.
After graduating from Seattle University, Kurt started his own law practice. He quickly became familiar with the system in district and superior courts. Kurt's practice has been rated excellent by the
AVVO Attorney rating service, and has received the prestigious
Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating. Kurt continually strives to improve his legal knowledge and courtroom skills.
Kurt Boehl's education also includes an honors degree in English from the Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Kurt has handled hundreds of cases in various King County cities. His approach to trials is thorough preparation and investigation combined with aggressive trial advocacy. He is a member of NACDL (National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers), WACDL (Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers), NORML (National Organizations for the Regulation of Marijuana Laws), Kurt is also admitted to practice in Federal Court.
